Self-Driving Minnesota is “a small and mighty group of citizens who believe that self-driving vehicles will be an enormous boon to independence for Minnesotans with disabilities (and others too). We are building community interest and involvement to help bring SDVs to Minnesota and we are seeking legislative support to study the possibilities SDVs represent and a potential pilot in Minnesota.”
Eric Schnell, a volunteer and founder with Self Driving Minnesota, joins host Steve Boland to talk about working with other charities aligned with this mission, including disabilities rights organizations and transportation-focused groups. Technology implementations, legal barriers past and future, and running an emerging nonprofit are all part of the discussion.
